Medicare Premiums an Deductibles for 2008

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced the following costs for Medicare in 2008:

Part A deductible: $1,024 (up from $992 in 2007)*

Part B premium: $96.40 ( up from $93.50 in 2007)

Part B deductible: $135 ( up from $131 in 2007).

* 99% qualify not to pay Part A premium of $393 in 2007.
